We left Whitehorse after 2 days and then departed from the Alaskan Highway taking the Klondike Loop to Dawson City, Y.T. Another beautiful drive of 330 plus miles. We passed through a few small communities. There were numerous lakes and rivers along the route.
The weather today had periods of sun but mainly cloudy dark skies. When we arrived in Dawson City it was very cloudy and then it rained for about an hour. It is now 10:30pm and the sun is shining brightly, in fact, there are some folks sitting outside sunny themselves. It is 60 degrees. It is hard to go to bed when it is so bright outside but morning will be here too soon if I don't get to bed soon.
